The next installment of our screening and conversation series is happening on January 15th—that’s next week!—with a screening of APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR, Akhavan’s coming-of-age story about a bisexual Persian woman named Shirin (Akhavan) who struggles to balance the disparate aspects of her identity in the wake of a break-up with her long-term girlfriend Maxine (Rebecca Henderson). And don’t leave your seat after the movie ends, either: the screening will be followed by a conversation between Akhavan and writer Rebecca Walker. How cool is that?!
