Wifey.tv presents GIRL ON GIRL, a new series of screenings, each followed by a badass cultural icon interviewing a celebrated female filmmaker.

We kick off the whole series with the groundbreaking 2000 indie feature Love & Basketball, starring Omar Epps (House M.D.) and Sanaa Lathan (The Best Man) as childhood friends who grow up to become lovers as young adults, all while they both experience the rollercoaster ride of lives in pro basketball.

After we recover from Maxwell’s cover of “This Woman’s Work”, superstar writer/professor/blogger/icon Roxane Gay (“An Untamed State”, “Bad Feminist”) will have a deep convo with the film's oh-so-fabulous director Gina Prince-Bythewood. A post-screening reception, inspiration, and fun times shall ensue!
