Riffing on the metaphor of laying ourselves out there on the Interwebs, naked for all to see, ITP student Xuedi Chen designed X.pose, a dress that reveals more and more skin as one reveals increasing amounts of personal information online. How does it work? An app tracks the user's online data trail. Then Bluetooth and an Arduino processor translate that information into panels that change from white to transparent as more and more personal data is shared. Finally, a dress for the social media oversharer and exhibitionist in us all.
