We can all (rightly) complain about narrow representation and the fact that so few of us see ourselves reflected in the ideal body, but the fact is that most of us are relatively close. Imagine what it feels like to a be a person whose body really veers from the norm, whose body is different enough that it's a given that the only place you'll see someone who looks like you is in the mirror.  Or to be a woman whose body is shaped in such a way that she can't even see herself in a mirror. Now imagine seeing that body cast in fiberglass in the window of a department store. It's pretty damn beautiful. A project created by Swiss disability organization Pro Infirmis.
