London-native Louis Theroux moved to Los Feliz in late 2012 to focus on this documentary, a three-part BBC documentary series on the nitty gritty of Los Angeles. It premiered (only in Britain, unfortunately) on Sunday, but we have the first episode for you here: "City of Dogs," on the sad state of stray dogs in South L.A. According to Theroux, LA has six city-run dog pounds with 35,000 pups that go through the institutions each year—and South L.A. has one of the busiest ones. While Theroux tries to talk to local residents, he faces aggressive confrontations when one woman tells Theroux to get his "bitch-ass back to London." This is a perfect opportunity for you to stream some Wifey TV to your big TV, lie back and give us an hour just like a real network.
