Seventh Grade Softcore
7th grader Melissa Bell read this piece of fan fiction at her middle school talent show. It seems the teachers in charge didn't have time to read the text beforehand (or learn her actual name). The results are pretty awesome, especially around the 2:15 mark. We need less America's Got Talent and more talent shows like this.
CHATTER
we all get that this was a skit…so stop pointing it out…if the point was not taken, it is all on you all who are grousing about the writer…
“No one thinks she wrote this, you poops,” retorted Brian.
Pretty funny skit. Give these guys a TV show!
Adorable.
well played Melissa, well played
This is from an old McSweeney’s essay.
he gave her an A
but she was hoping for D
Melissa Bell, you are our hero, even if you’re a figment of a writer’s imagination.
Would it be churlish of me to point out inconsistencies and other evidence that lead me to believe this is not actually a recording of a little girl at a talent show? (Or, for that matter, that it’s a little creepy?)
You do realize that this video was scripted humor, right? Like you saw the credits where they tell you the actress playing the student is named Zoe?
She didn’t write this.
