Yarn-Bombing the Subway
Fiber artist London Kaye celebrated Valentine's day by crocheting the inside of the L train. (Like it could have been any other line, really.) I've always wanted to see a yarn-bomb in progress, so I find this public project pretty fascinating. It's also a darkly funny reference to the terrorist train threat. When they say "If you see something, say something", does that include unexpectedly acrylic-wrapped poles?
